Welcome to our pet care family!
I founded my pet care business in 2024 after seeing how much dogs benefit from a more personal, homely approach to boarding. With years of experience working in care homes, I’ve always loved providing comfort and support in a nurturing environment. After having my second child, I decided to combine that passion with my love for animals and that’s how this journey began.
Now that my children are older, caring for pets has truly become a family effort. Together, we’ve created a warm, loving space where every dog is treated like part of our own family, filled with play, cuddles, and plenty of adventures.
The Business
Shelley’s Pet Care Services was founded with one clear mission: to provide a true “home-from-home” experience for dogs, while giving owners complete peace of mind to enjoy their time away.
To ensure the highest standards of care, I obtained all the necessary licences and insurances and continue to invest in my professional development. I’ve completed training in areas such as pet first aid, canine behaviour, and animal management — and I’m always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and skills.
Every dog that comes to stay is welcomed like part of the family, and my thorough screening process ensures their safety, comfort, and happiness during their stay. Since launching in 2024, the business has proudly been recognised with several prestigious honours, including Dog Boarding Company of the Year by Prestige Awards, as well as an Award of Excellence for Number One Pet Care Services of the Year.
